An Awards Evening for 250 Guests
A seated awards dinner with staged presentations, full AV and a registration desk - the format where timing failures are most visible.
An awards evening is one of the least forgiving corporate formats. Two hundred and fifty people are seated at once, served at once, and expected to sit through a presentation segment that runs to a script. If service overruns, the programme overruns with it.
The work that prevents that is done in the schedule. Courses are timed against presentation blocks rather than the other way round, the kitchen is briefed on exactly when each service window opens, and the AV team runs a full technical rehearsal before doors.
Registration is its own project at this scale. A desk that takes ninety seconds per guest creates a queue that never clears, so it is staffed and laid out to move people in under twenty.
Branding runs through staging, signage and print, working to the client's existing guidelines rather than an approximation of them.
